Rock Seattle Camp
All Access – Compassion

July 6th - 17th

(Monday through Friday) ::: 10am - 5:30pm

Unlimited attendance includes daily study in the instrument of your choice (guitar, bass, or drums), group Band 101 rehearsals, as well as your choice of 2 other workshops including supplementary courses in music art, recording, live sound, and vocals/songwriting.  Our focus of camp will be on compassion and giving back to the community with performances/Q&A sessions with guest artists and daily workshops focused on the impact music has had on our society from Roots Music through today’s music.  All student bands will record songs for a compilation CD and play a showcase at the Vera Project on the final day of camp.

 

Co-ed

For students 12-21 years old of all skill levels (beginner to advanced). 

Students are required to bring/purchase their own lunches.

Rock School Summer Camps in Redmond

 

For Those About to Rock:
July 27th - Aug 7th (Monday through Friday) ::: 10am - 5pm
co-ed          Ages 12-19
Have you ever wanted to form your own band and record your own CD?  This camp will get you started.  Get the up-to-date low-down about the music industry, including how to form a band, tips and tricks for your instrument, how to write a song, record a CD, and play a live show.  Students will take daily instrument lessons (bass, guitar or drums), and choose 2 of the following workshops live sound, recording, music art and vocals/songwriting.  We have will have workshops with professionals in all avenues of the music industry coming in to help you get started and get out there in the music scene!   Don't miss out! 

This camp is always a blast for teens from 12-19 years old of all playing levels (beginner to advanced).  This is a two-week day camp.  Students will need to bring their own bass, guitar or drum sticks as well as a lunch each day.

Fee: $445 for Redmond residents, $534 for non-residents

The Power of Rock:
Aug 10th - Aug 14th (Monday through Friday) ::: 10am - 5pm
co-ed          Ages 12-19
 
Unlimited attendance includes daily intensive Band 101 rehearsals, as well as your choice of 2 other workshops including music art, recording, live sound, and vocals/songwriting.  This camp will allow intermediate to advanced players to focus more intensively on the areas of most interest to you.  We will have performances / Q&A sessions with guest artists focused on the power of popular music and the impact it has had in their lives and on our society.  You will have a rare and amazing opportunity to sit down and learn with professionals in all areas of the music industry, covering topics such as booking, touring, promotions, and careers in the music business.  We will also record a CD and play a live show at the Old Fire House Teen Center at the end of this exciting camp.

For students 12-19 years old with intermediate to advanced skill levels  

Students will need to bring their own bass, guitar or drum sticks as well as a lunch each day.

Fee: $280 for Redmond residents / $336 non-residents
